LICHFIELD CIty have found their form again after a recent wobble and beat Romulus 4-1 away on Monday night to go second in the premier.
Kyle Patterson, Tom Brown, Jack Edwards and Dan Lomas were on target for City, Trea Bertie getting Roms' solitary goal. City are now level on points with AFC Wulfrunians in second place but have a better goal difference. There is action in both the premier and first divisions tonight (Tuesday) with some big games in propect. Boldmere St Michaels will be looking to make up ground on Lichfield when they play one of their games in hand, at Shifnal Town. Tividale also have games in hand on Wulfrunians and entertain Stourport Swifts at The Beeches. First division action see a sixth versus third affair at Stourbridge Road, OJM Black Country v Darlaston Town 1874, with the visitors looking to go within one point of second placed Stapenhill. Dudley Town are at home to Bilston Town Community in a local derby and bottom side Dudley Sports host Khalsa Football Federation. THERE is a big game in the premier division at Castle Vale tonight (Monday) when Romulus host Lichfield City.
The visitors will be looking to go second in the league whilst Roms will be looking to push into the top half of the division. Romulus lost 2-0 at Walsall Wood on Saturday whilst Lichfield beat Bewdley Town 3-0. Kick off at the Castle Vale stadium is 7.45pm |
