MIDWEEK PREVIEW
There are two league games planned for midweek in the Midland Football League Premier Division. On Tuesday, Uttoxeter Town take on Boldmere St Michaels and Walsall Wood are at home to Worcester City. On Wednesday there is one game in the JW Hunt Cup, when Lichfield City are at home to OJM Black Country. All games kick off at 7.45pm WEEKEND ROUND UP
THINGS are really hotting up at the top of division one where three of the teams chasing Atherstone all had differing fortunes. Dudley Town lost 3-0 at home to Heath Hayes but Darlaston Town 1874 won by the same score at Coventry Copsewood. Stapenhill w/ere 2-0 up at OJM Black Country through Harry Lansdowne and Oli Roome but two goals from the impressive Babucar Sauane pegged them back and he also had a goal ruled out for offside. In the premier, Hanley Town's game at Bewdley was off, with Boldmere in a position to take advantage but they could only draw 0-0 at Stone Old Alleynians. Tividale are in the pack chasing Hanley and won 3-2 at FA Vase quarter finalists Whitchurch Alport.
