Two added-time goals saw top dogs Gornal Athletic complete a mammoth turnaround to beat Birmingham OJM 4-3 and maintain their perfect Capelli Sport MFL Division One record.
Chris Uwabor’s opener for OJM was cancelled out by Traevay Wright on the stroke of half-time but the visitors seized control through substitute Reece Morris and Uwabor’s second either side of the hour mark.
Jordan Sangha hit the bar for Gornal seven minutes from time with Wright then halving the deficit moments later, setting up a grandstand finish.
Brad Maslen-Jones converted a penalty two minutes after the 90 but the Peacocks were not done and Joel Westwood sparked wild celebrations with the winner in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
Another seven goals were served up in the battle of two promoted sides as Northfield Town flew out of the traps to beat Bustleholme 5-2.
Dan Wootten fired inside the near post early on with Town creating a flurry of chances before Romano Graham was threaded in by Wootten to lash in the second.

The visitors made three changes and improved after the break but Northfield stood firm and picked their moments with Lewis McPike and Wilson firing home opportunities from the right of the box. Anton Nesbeth got a consolation 12 minutes from time.
Three goals in 10 first-half minutes inspired Coalville Town’s 6-0 win at Kirby Muxloe, Ronnie-Junior Morley, Madundo Semahimbo and Zac Smithson getting the ball rolling with Farah Abdi, Smithson and substitute Billy Cameron completing the rout by the midway point of the second half.
Heather St John’s made it eight without defeat with a 4-1 win over Saffron Dynamo, Kyle Jardine, Kyle Wooldridge (2) Camen Bhandal on target. Jack Coles halved Saffron’s two-goal deficit late in the first half.
Lutterworth Athletic bagged a third win in a row by winning 3-1 at GNG Oadby Town, Afonso Mvula and Adam Shaw (2) on the scoresheet, while Leicester St Andrew’s secured a fourth straight win with a 2-1 success at FCV Grace Dieu. Sam Hollis netted within the first minutes for the visitors, Kylano Isaac quickly got one back but Zak Adams decided it in the 65th minute.
Coventry Copsewood made it back-to-back wins and five-goal hauls with a 5-2 win at Boldmere Rangers, Keji Adeniyi (2), Sean Kavanagh (2) and substitute Will Boden on target for a side that had not won a league game prior to the Bank Holiday weekend.
Mack Armstrong, Bradley Coleman and Adam McCormack ensured Ingles won 3-0 at Stapenhill, AFC North Kilworth beat Holwell Sports 1-0, Jude Coates getting the decider 20 minutes from time, and Cradley Town trumped Chelmsley Town 2-1 thanks to Saihou Jobe and an added-time winner from Cameron Milne. Mark Rose had put Chelmsley in front from the penalty spot.
