Sutton United were the big winners in the Premier Division as they beat follow high-fliers Northwich Victoria 2-0 at Coleshill Road to make it five in a row and a place in the top three.
There was nothing to separate the sides at the break but Joe Gildea forced the ball over the line for the opener five minutes into the second half after Lewis Hayden had hit the bar. Jayden Hunter calmly made it 2-0 20 minutes later
Struggling Stone Old Alleynians came from behind to earn a valuable point at home to Cheadle Town who led courtesy of a Callum Gardner goal after just eight minutes. Matt Thomas bagged the equaliser on 78 minutes, ten minutes after Jack Bowater had been sent off.
The game between Dudley Town and Darlaston Town finished goalless and the points were also shared as Lye Town and Stockport Georgians drew 2-2 – Harry Lambert and Carl Pendlebury for the visitors and Liam Brannigan and Joe Fitzpatrick for the Black Country hosts.
It was the same scoreline at Brocton where West Didsbury & Chorlton fought back to claim a draw. Dylan Millington and Regan Smith put the hosts two goals ahead inside the opening half-hour but these were cancelled out in the second half thanks to a Sam Dickov double, his second from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.
A goal from Macara McNulty-Hartnett early in the second half was enough to give AFC Wolverhampton City victory at Wythenshawe Town while leaders Winsford United were 3-1 winners at home to Sporting Khalsa. Joshua Hall, Diego Esquivel-McGann and Kaylan Wilkinson were on target for the home side, Mitchell Glover with a late consolation.
Goals from Lewis Holdham, Kingsley Adu-Gyamfi and Sam Finney wrapped up Abbey Hulton United’s 3-1 win at home to Tividale for whom Josh Newbold scored.
Second-placed Runcorn Town were 2-0 victors over visitors Uttoxeter Town while Whitchurch Alport and Romulus played out a 1-1 draw, Joe Morley for the visitors and Alfie Gregory for the hosts.
