Tividale twice came back from behind to claim a thrilling first Capelli Sport MFL win of the season 4-3 at Sutton United.
Trailing to Joe Gildea’s goal midway through the first half, Ben Givargidze levelled it on the stroke of half-time only for Sutton to lead again just before the hour, Tom Massey marking his 200th appearance for the Green Army in style.
Givargidze swiftly got another equaliser, though, with Callum Hamnett then bagging his own brace in a ten-minute spell just past the hour.
Massey got his second in added time but it was not enough to stop bottom side Tivi getting off the mark.
Dudley Town made it a memorable Bank Holiday by ending a winless start with two victories in three days.
Having beaten Whitchurch Alport on Saturday, the Robins led through Alfie Wilkes but then trailed to Reg Smith’s double before Ryan Snape and Jon Millinchip turned it around in the final seven minutes to beat Brocton 3-2.
Sajjad Elhassan notched at either end of the first half as Wythenshawe Town also made it a Bank Holiday double by beating Runcorn Town 2-1, ending the away side’s perfect league record. Liam Kennington’s 44th-minute penalty had levelled it for Town.
That means Northwich Victoria boast the only unbeaten record in the Premier Division after Joe Duckworth’s quickfire double midway through the second half – the second a penalty – saw off West Didsbury & Chorlton 2-1. Jacques Etia halved West’s deficit nine minutes from time.
Winsford United also took full advantage of Runcorn’s loss to move six points clear at the top with a third win a row, an own goal and Diego McGann’s effort two minutes from time settling a 2-0 win at Stockport Georgians.
Harley Monaghan and Harrison Cunningham netted late in each half as Cheadle Town recovered from conceding an early own goal to win 2-1 at Whitchurch Alport, climbing to fourth in the table.
Sporting Khalsa grabbed an impressive 4-2 win at Abbey Hulton United. Mitch Glover struck early with Jamie Fox and Isai Marselia notching either side of the interval to put Khalsa three to the good.
Lewis Holdham got one back only for Marselia to get his second of the afternoon, a goal that ensured Jack Gumbley’s goal eight minutes from the end would be nothing more than a consolation.
Callum McKenna and Danny Cartwright wrapped up Lye Town’s 2-0 win at Stone Old Alleynians, while Joe Worley got the added-time equaliser that rescued Romulus a 1-1 draw at AFC Wolverhampton City. Dan Munday had given the hosts the advantage shortly before half-time.
Darlaston Town’s lead was short lived in a 1-1 draw with Uttoxeter Town, Ezekiel Agyemang’s opener early in the second half wiped out within a minute by Jake Avery.
