The Capelli Sport Midland Football League-led initiative saw the MFL, United Counties League (UCL) and the North West Counties League (NWCL) meet at Walsall FC to discuss the geographical and league stability issues currently prevalent at Steps 5 and 6 as well as various other issues amongst our member clubs.
The board of the MFL feel that a joint approach is necessary for any representation to the FA to have a positive outcome.
The board of the MFL are looking forward to having discussions with the relevant stakeholders regarding the future plans and discussing an application for the MFL to have a second Step 6 division.
